JOB DESCRIPTION

The Training Support Officer, Aboriginal Access Centre is responsible for providing a first point of contact for potential students and community groups. The incumbent provides vocational and educational counselling, and support to current/prospective students and supports Aboriginal students to transition from the Aboriginal Access Centre to mainstream TAFE SA courses. The Training Support Officer assists students to manage personal, social, health and educational concerns to effect successful completion of studies.

Special Conditions

  • Some out of hours work may be required
  • Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required
  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Appointment to this position will be subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC)
