Sheridan Institute of Higher Education is a Baptist not-for-profit provider of tertiary education in the Perth CBD.

Sheridan is offering a fixed term contract of 12 months for an International Business Development Officer to fill the position of a staff member who will be taking maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Build new relationships and maintain existing relationships (onshore and offshore) with education and migration agents, and with onshore VET and ELICOS providers.
  • Provide ongoing training and relevant marketing support to partners and handle incoming correspondence and enquiries from potential partners.
  • Directly presenting to and recruiting international students via partner channels and events, and include collaboration with the admissions team on applications, offers and enrolments.
Your key performance indicator will be achieving enrolments of genuine international students who meet Sheridan's selective admission standards.

Successful Applicants Will Have Provided Evidence Of
  • A marketing qualification and/or experience in the international education sector.
  • Ability to initiate and manage business and working relationships across a diverse range of cultures.
  • Bilingual with a language reflecting one of the target markets.
  • A solid understanding of the ESOS Act.
  • Ability to pursue multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Alignment with Sheridan's Christian ethos.
