About The Role

This is a School Administrative Officer position that is based in the Science faculty. Your work will be based in the science laboratory area to prepare materials and resources for Science lessons.



  • Working with Children Check Clearance
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to undertake First Aid training.
  • Administration of Medications – training to be provided based on student needs.
  • Willingness to undertake chemical safety training with the expectation of making and preparing chemicals on a daily basis
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work in a collaborative manner with the Science faculty
Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated capacity to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Administration skills including a knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with teachers and students.
  • Ability to perform tasks in one or more of the following areas: office procedures; accounting procedures; sick bay; hospitality and /or design and technology; science.
Special Notes

It is important that applicants have a willingness to undertake chemical safety training, with the expectation of making and preparing chemicals on a daily basis, and can d emonstrate organisational skills. Applicants must also have the ability to work in a collaborative manner with the Science faculty.

This position is based in the Science faculty. The role is to prepare materials and resources for Science lessons.
