Full Job Description
Swinburne’s Health, Science and Community department are currently looking for a new team member to lead the coordination of vocational education placements within the Community Services portfolio. Under general direction, the Placement Coordinator is expected to foster strong working relationships with placement facilities and industry partners. The role will utilise your expert administrative and stakeholder management skills to procure new placement opportunites, administer student placement agreements, respond to student enquiries, liais with the relevant departmental and placement administrative staff and meet external reporting requirements.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:
A degree with substantial subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience in similar administrative fields; or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
Experience in an administrative role including coordination of a range of functions and provision of advice and interpretation of policy and procedures in a vocational or tertiary education institution
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate, liaise and work with people at all levels with tact, maturity and appreciation of sensitive issues
Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively and flexibly within a team environment
