Your new Centre

This family-owned centre located in Brookvale really focuses on the children and scaffolding their learning through meaningful activities and experiences, the centre is rich in resources and have purpose-built learning spaces that support the needs of each child.
This centre has a diverse range of programs and in centre events to further extend the learning and development of children, while providing them the opportunity to experience a range of different learning dispositions which further links to the Early Years Learning Framework.
You will be joining a highly regarded team of educators that have developed strong connections with their families, children, management, and one another where you will receive support to focus on regular professional development and a chance to participate in team bonding events.

Your new role

As the ECT Preschool Room Leader, you will guide a team of educators in providing the highest quality of care to the children, not only in your room but across the centre. You will also be responsible for ensuring the children are receiving appropriate learning opportunities that follow the EYLF and NQS guidelines, these learning experience will be documented through your programming and planning, reflections, and individual children's observations.
You will have a genuine passion for children and their wellbeing by demonstrating patience, support, and recognition.
As the Room Leader you will also strive to develop trusting relationships with families and other educators.

To be successful

  • ACECQA Approved Bachelor of Early Childhood Degree or equivalent
  • Current paid Working with Children Check
  • Current HLTAID004 Certificate in Childcare first aid & CPR
  • Knowledge of the NQS, EYLF and child protection legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong, teamwork and ability to support the team
  • Current Child Protection Certificate
  • Available to work Fulltime and have full working rights
  • You can take on feedback and strive to support the team/ centre
