We are looking for a professional, dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our combined Long Day Care Centre/Kindergarten.


We are a family owned, stand-alone Centre that has been in operation for 14 years.

We take pride in putting children first and valuing the significant contribution we are making to their lives through play based education.

Our Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor is dedicated to ensuring that children’s individual needs are supported and that all children in the Centre feel safe and secure whilst they are educated in a quality, nurturing and fun environment. The Centre Director works tirelessly to ensure she is continually improving the Centre and building a strong, dynamic, passionate team of Educator’s who strive for Excellence in all that they do. 

We also have a non-contact Assistant Director who is focussed on supporting the Director and the team to ensure that the best outcomes possible are being achieved for our children.

Our Centre is well resourced and licenced for 95 children (5 classrooms), from 6 weeks old through to Kindergarten age. 


As the full time Early Childhood Teacher (Monday-Friday) at Tiny Legends Child Care Centre, Brighton, you will be responsible for delivering a high level Approved Kindergarten Program to up to 28 children in your classroom each day (with 2 Full Time Educators).

Key Details:

  • Full Time 38hrs/Week (Monday-Friday)
  • Above Award Pay
  • 7 Weeks Paid Annual Leave Per Year (set holiday dates - 4 weeks over Christmas + 1st week of each school holidays through the year) 
  • 5.5hrs non-contact programming each week
  • 2 full days of programming at end of each term (15hrs)
  • $3000 resource budget each term

The position is to start on Monday 10th May, however, an earlier start date may be negotiated from Monday 26th April onwards.

The successful applicant must:

  • have a passion for working with children, genuinely wanting to give them the best start to life through play based education and a desire to have a positive impact on their lives and their future.
  • have a passion for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with families and the wider community.
  • have a current positive working with children check.
  • have current first aid/cpr/anaphalaxis/asthma.
  • have completed an approved Bachelor of Early Childhood (or similiar approved qualification).
  • have experience delivering a Kindergarten Program.
  • have a working understanding of the National Law & Regulations and the National Quality Framework.
  • have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines.
  • have a high level of professionalism and a strong appreciation of professional boundaries.
  • have a strong desire to continually improve and strive for Excellence (as an individual and as a Centre)
  • have strong and professional written and verbal communication skills.
