Hazelwood Early Childhood Centre is a 52 place long-day care centre based in Hazelbrook, run by a highly dedicated team of professionals, operating in a new purpose-built building. Being in operation in the community for over 30 years, Hazelwood is a community minded centre with a well-loved reputation. We are committed to nurturing, protecting and promoting the wellbeing of each child in our care.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Certificate III trained Early Childhood Educator to fill a Permanent Part Time position (3 days/24 hours per week) at Hazelwood Early Childhood Centre 

Essential Criteria

  • Hold an ACECQA Approved Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, CPR, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management Training.
  • Clear Working with Children Check.
  • Clear Police Check.
  • Approved Child Protection training certificate.

Essential Experience

  • Experience working in an approved education and care service.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • demonstrated experience in curriculum, supporting curriculum development and documenting children's learning and development.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in supporting the inclusion of children with additional needs.


  • Ability to relate effectively with children and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Sound communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional learning.
  • Reliable and punctual.
