Heritage House Cherrybrook Childcare & Early Learning Centres is a 20+ year family owned and operating business looking for an experienced Centre Manager, 2IC (Early Childhood Teacher prefered) to join our growing team.

We are looking for experienced, passionate, and dedicated individuals. The successful candidates will have a strong focus on quality customer service delivery, the drive to develop strong relationships with families, have strong leadership skills, and be passionate about developing a creative learning environment for our children.

The Role - Centre Manager & Assistant Manager (2IC):

  • Manage the day to day operations of the centre in line with company policies, procedures and targets
  • Undertake a Nominated Supervisor role
  • Maintain and improve centre's A&R rating
  • Develop a positive and engaging community presence
  • Provide leadership, support and guidance to staff and students as needed
  • Develop a positive, cohesive work environment for all staff
  • Manage rosters & attendance
  • Induct and support new team members
  • Implement initiatives to encourage increased occupancy rate
  • Ensure centre is compliant with all Centre policies, State Legislation and National Quality Standards
  • Ensure Health & Safety standards are always maintained in line with Company standards

Required experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the role
  • Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or Hold a Diploma in Children Services
  • A current Working with Children’s Check and valid First Aid, Child Protection.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) and Rating and Assessment process
  • Strong experience creating and maintaining a Centre Quality Improvement Program
  • Extensive experience within the Early Childhood sector
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication, leadership and management skills
  • Highly organised and ability to multi-task
