Internal applications are sought for the Director of UniSA’s Centre for Cancer Biology (CCB).

Cancer research is a priority at UniSA. Our world-leading researchers generate knowledge to tackle some of the greatest challenges in understanding, preventing and treating cancer. Recognising this priority, cancer is one of UniSA’s 6 research themes.

An alliance between UniSA and Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), the Centre for Cancer Biology (CCB) is co-located with other researchers within the purpose-built building UniSA Bradley Building. The CCB is recognised as a hub for innovative science leading to breakthrough therapies.

Reporting directly to the Executive Dean, Clinical and Health Sciences and taking additional direction from the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Research and Enterprise, you will be responsible for the leadership, success and ongoing strategic development and growth of the CCB. You will also be invited to the Clinical and Health Sciences Executive Team.

You will be expected to develop and foster a dynamic research environment to align the CCB activity with the strategic direction and research themes of the University and UniSA-CALHN Alliance, involving active collaboration with partners locally, nationally and internationally.
