Here’s where you come in:

We’re looking for an inventive & driven Senior Instructional Designer to apply their previous experience to develop course curriculum and engaging learning solutions for the target audience of Transfusion Policy & Education.

You will be tasked with making the content interesting and interactive to ensure learner engagement. You will collaborate with the team to scope, design, storyboard and deliver innovative learning solutions that meet our learner’s needs. You will also determine the most effective way to design training and assessment utilising various learning platforms.

This is a part time (19 hours per week) fixed term contract until June 2022. You will report into our Transfusion Policy & Education Manager and will be based out of our office on Currie St in Adelaide.

Key Skills:
  • Extensive proven work experience in Instructional Design with knowledge of learning theories & lesson and curriculum planning for VET sector
  • Advanced skills with eLearning software such as Articulate or Captive and strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Strong stakeholder management experience at all levels
  • Previous experience partnering with and managing external learning vendors
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is vital
Other Skills:
  • A strong project focus with the ability to plan and manage time to ensure delivery on key outcomes
  • Previous experience working for a healthcare organisation would be very beneficial
  • Vocational education and training experience would be held in high regard
  • An ability to coach and mentor other team members
