Where you'll be working
The Cancer Centre for Children at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead is the largest childhood paediatric cancer department, with the busiest referral centre, in New South Wales.

What you'll be doing

The CCFC Digital Content Officer is responsible for generating and maintaining content for the Cancer Centre for Children website, its' photo library and related digital media, to ensure digital content is current and consistent.

The CCFC Digital Content Officer works within the Cancer Centre and acts as communication resource for patients, families and staff.

The SCHN Digital Content Officer will set the strategy and priorities in collaboration with, and in response to, client requirements.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully creating audience focused content suitable for diverse channels including social media
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience working collaboratively to achieve strategic goals and quality outcomes
  • Advanced written and verbal skills, including the ability to translate complex information into simple messages and write for a range of audiences.
  • Proactive, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with patients, parents and carers to develop and deliver content
  • Previous experience using a Content Management System or willingness to learn.
  • Awareness of trends, innovation and best practice in digital content and social media.
