We recognise that real experience is the most important aspect when appointing our teaching staff, and we know that this experience, your creditability and your story will have a positive impact.

The role:
This is a unique opportunity to form part of a team that along with teaching traditional face to face training from Wollongong, will also deliver training and assessing across multiple regions in the South of NSW.

From Wollongong down to Bega and Albury and out to Hay, Young and Griffith, you will be on the road 3 -4 nights a week on a weekly basis. All accommodation and meals will be provided, as well as a TAFE company car – you will need a NSW Drivers licence.

 You will be responsible for constructing, guiding and enhancing the educational process, delivering practical programs, collaborating with a team of trainers and facilitating learning to enable students and employers to achieve their desired outcomes

Essential requirements….

• Certificate III in Baking Trades and Certificate of Proficiency in Baking 
• Minimum of three years’ experience in industry gained no longer than five years previously. 
• Certificate IV TAE40116
• Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as maintain their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence. 
• High level written and oral communication skills in English and Proven ability to communicate effectively in a wide range of educational, industrial or community environments. 
• Commitment and ability to facilitate learning in an adult workplace environment and demonstrated organisational skills applicable to an educational and workplace setting. 
• Demonstrated commitment to quality customer service and demonstrated ability to contribute in a team environment. 
• Proven strengths in problem solving and change management.
