Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Nurse Educator to join our Centre for Education and Workforce Development team!

Are you interested in joining an experienced and motivated group of educators leading innovative education programs for staff in health? The purpose of this position is to lead the delivery of high quality education initiatives that ensure our workforce has the skills required to deliver or support the delivery of patient and family centred care.

The Centre for Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) is the education and training service for SLHD and provides a wide range of development opportunities to both the clinical and non-clinical workforce. Some broad portfolios include: clinical placements, orientation, traineeships, management and leadership, corporate skills and clinical skills including teaching through simulation.

As a delivery site of the NSW Health RTO, CEWD also provides a wide range of Nationally Recognised Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs and qualifications. You will have the opportunity to participate in the development and delivery of a range of these VET programs
