About the role

You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team developing the mental health and wellbeing strategy for the RMIT ensuring alignment of our approach for staff to that used for students. You will be responsible for the implementation of the mental health and wellbeing strategy for the RMIT staff ensuring that it reflects the needs of individual business units and the demographics of the university.

You will;

Oversee and collaborate with stakeholders across the university to design and deliver effective and targeted mental health and wellbeing initiatives for staff across all Australian campuses and provide expert support to our global sites
Manage the Employee Assistance Program including promotion activities, vendor management and budget
Manage the wellbeing resources and the use of other communication channels for health promotion
Develop measures and targets to report on overall university wellbeing risk along with the success of individual wellbeing programs

About you

You will have;

A Degree in Psychology and in-depth understanding as well as experiences of mental health and wellbeing best practice approaches in an organisational setting
Proven experience in implementing health and wellbeing programs will be advantageous as well as strong understanding of evidence-based health promotion
Sound judgement and the ability to deliver innovative & up-to-date alternatives to improve processes and procedures
Worked in partnership with external teams that are not part of immediate sphere of control to create appropriate approaches to address mental and wellbeing concerns

Psychology qualifications essential
