Job Description:
Working under broad direction the Manager, Contracts and Tenders is accountable for leading the development and monitoring of all aspects of TAFE SA’s education contracts and tenders, ensuring their compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks and policies.

This role leads and manages the Education Partnerships Support team of professionals supporting the Education Partnerships team with research and project support, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Contracts Management System (CMS) system usage, data integrity, reporting, logistic and administrative functions in support of TAFE SA’s Strategic Plan. The role interprets, reviews, develops and implements complex contracts and tenders, develops and fosters successful relationships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders of TAFESA as required to facilitate and ensure governance and compliance.

This role provides a central point of contact for all revenue generating tender opportunities, leads, manages and evaluates complex revenue generating tender opportunities, from development through to implementation delivering continuous improvement in strategies, framework and processes to ensure that relevant funding opportunities are captured and socialised across relevant units, and governance of tenders and contracts.

The Manager, Contracts and Tenders leads the Education Partnerships Support team in delivering high quality administrative, research and project support and services to Education Partnerships Managers and Consultants. This includes preparing relevant insights that enables the development and delivery of strategies, plans and programs that support the attainment of TAFE SAs revenue generation and other strategic objectives. The role collaborates closely with other members of the Education Partnerships team to understand the team’s strategic objectives and KPIs and provide specialist consultancy in relation to researching and submission of tenders and contracts, insights, complex projects and logistics as required to fulfil the team KPIs.

This is an ongoing full time appointment located at Regency Campus in the first instance.

Special Conditions:
There maybe a requirement to work from other TAFE SA sites on a needs basis.
Some out of hour work may be required and a flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
Active participation in TAFE SA Performance Management and Development (PMD) Program.

The successful applicant is required to have or gain a Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check (WWCC) South Australia, prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years. A current DHS Child-Related Employment Screen Check will be recognised as a WWCC until expiry.
