With a brand new, purpose-built building, this service is waiting for an innovative and inspiring Director to take the lead in establishing a team of educators and make this service their own.

This provider prides itself on creating premium facilities with learning hubs and community parent lounges, striking the perfect balance between providing innovative early education experiences and meeting the needs of the communities they operate in. With extracurricular activities and large open play spaces, this service will exceed traditional childcare expectations and achieve high standards.

This service will cater to 100 children and their families in the heart of Gwelup.

The role:
This role is a rare opportunity to build a service from the ground up and make it your own. As the Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the service, including but not limited to:

Day to day operations
Compliance with industry laws and regulations
Staffing and rosters
Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and
National Quality Framework
Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
Compliance with company policies and procedures
Mentoring and guiding the service philosophy
Liaising and building relationships with stakeholders, clients and the local community

About you:
Able to hit the ground running, you will be able to tackle challenges with a positive outlook and use your considerable experience to build beneficial relationships with staff, families and management. You will need to be flexible and innovative with the ability to solve problems that can face new childcare services.

This role would suit a professional who has had previous experience in establishing and running childcare services.

Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
A valid Working with Children Check
Strong understanding of Regulation/Legislation, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) is essential
Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
Proven experience opening and building up a new Centre
Hands-on experience running a large Centre (over 100 places), including effective rostering and wage control, and guiding a large team's performance
The ability to stay calm and considered in the face of challenges
Strong team leadership abilities with experience leading, inspiring and developing a team of professional educators
Relationships focus
A keen interest and strong skills in the commercials of a medium-sized centre
Strong knowledge of computer skills including Qikkids, CCMS, ISS.
