The Opportunity

  • International alliances, availability for after hours as needed
  • 12-month fixed term contract, potential for extension
  • $75,832 - $85,897 + 17% super + leave loading
  • Work from home and UNSW campus
Reporting to the Director, Alliances this newly created role supports partnerships with international universities focussed on solving global challenges. Key responsibilities include: -
  • Communications - social channels (twitter, website) and direct mail engagement with existing and prospective members.
  • Coordination and attendance at international meetings as an observer to record minutes and action plans.
  • Financial responsibilities including invoicing.
  • Maintaining systems and processes for managing projects across the Alliances.

Skills and Experience

You can demonstrate your project coordination experience, as well as:
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships as well as working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks and conflicting deadlines, prioritising workload appropriately.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently and with initiative to identify, analyse and resolve administrative issues ensuring effective outcomes and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce high quality of work accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively within and across teams.
  • Advanced level of computer literacy with sound skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Experience with the Office 365 suite, database management, and website maintenance.
  • An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives, and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
  • Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
