The ANU College of Health and Medicine comprises the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR), the Research School of Psychology, the ANU Medical School, and the Research School of Population Health. These four School's collaborate to deliver world-class research and education across the spectrum of medicine and health-related fields, and work in partnership with the health sector at local, national and international levels. The JCSMR is a multi-disciplinary institute with strong research activity and a distinguished history in Cancer Research, Immunology, Genomics and Neuroscience.

The JCSMR is seeking a highly motivated individual to play a key role in developing and implementing the communication and related public engagement activities of the School. The Senior Communications and Engagement Officer will work closely with the College, and our academic and professional staff and students, to proactively promote the many successes of the School. You will be responsible for the delivery of school-based events and content development for school communication channels, including web and social content. You will also play a pivotal role in improving and enhancing internal communication practices and processes, and contributing to College-wide strategic initiatives.

The successful applicant will possess excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to write engaging and impactful stories that communicate complex subjects, and an ability to build highly effective stakeholder relationships.
