Crown Perth are consecutive AHA Awards winners in training and Hall of Fame recipients for the WA Tourism Awards in the category of “Education and Training”. Our Learning & Development team have led this success by providing extensive in-house training opportunities to its diverse community of employees.

A rewarding opportunity has become available for an experienced and passionate professional to join the Hotels, Food & Beverage Learning and Development team at Crown Perth. Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Advisor will be responsible for advising, planning and administering training and development activity within the food and beverage portfolio, including the delivery and assessment of accredited and non-accredited solutions that optimise service quality, business performance and compliance whilst ensuing the successful management and growth of our people.

Essential Criteria

  • Management experience in the service or hospitality industry
  • Experience in the development and delivery of accredited and non-accredited training solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of effective learning techniques and principles
  • Demonstrated problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and organisational skills
  • Strong coaching, mentoring and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse performance, identify training needs and innovate new opportunities
  • Ability to develop and nurture relationships, and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Commitment to Equal Opportunity, Ethical Practice and Occupational Health and Safety
  • Digital proficiency in Microsoft Office products and/or cloud based applications


Preferred Criteria
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • Diploma is Hospitality Business Management or equivalent
  • Knowledge and understanding of change management principles
