Position is based in Melbourne

The Faculty of Health Sciences offers courses in biomedical science, clinical education, clinical exercise physiology, exercise and cancer, exercise science, health administration, healthcare simulation education, high performance sport, mental health, midwifery, nursing, nutrition science, occupational therapy, paramedicine, physiotherapy, psychology, public health, rehabilitation, social work and speech pathology.

As a Faculty Finance Officer you will:
Provide high level financial administrative support to the Faculty Business Units with a focus on Clinical Placements;
Provide timely handling of transactions including, but not limited to; reconciliation of invoices, contract approvals, journal requests and travel/form reviews;
Provide efficient and effective communication to FHS members in relation to financial and staffing transactions;
Assist with maintenance of FHS finance records.

To be successful in this role you will need:
Relevant tertiary qualification in finance / accounting or demonstrated experience in positions with financial responsibilities;
Demonstrated eye for detail, and the ability to maintain databases and use financial packages with high level of accuracy, including running reports;
High level computer skills, particularly capacity with financial and human resource systems;
To demonstrate confidence and courage in achieving ACU’s Mission, Vision and Values by connecting the purpose of one’s work to ACU’s Mission, Vision and Values.

Total remuneration valued to $85,053 to $92,167pa (pro rata), including salary component $71,871 - $77,882 pa (pro rata) (Higher Education Worker Level 5), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
