  • Based in UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance at the City East campus
  • Full-time, five (5) year fixed term contract
  • Salary: $100,184 per annum (plus superannuation)


About the Role


Reporting to the Professorial Lead and working closely with the Program Director: Medical Radiation, the Lecturer in Medical Radiation will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the Academic Unit’s teaching and research outcomes and initiatives to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional activities. This position will primarily focus on the development, delivery and coordination of courses within the unit’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs and contribute to the unit’s research agenda.

  • Develop, coordinate and deliver courses on campus, offshore, online or via appropriate methods
  • Supervise/co-supervise honours or postgraduate students
  • Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university and community bodies
  • Contribute to program planning and evaluation
  • Participate in the professional development activities of the Academic Unit


Essential Skills and Experience


  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional/industry and eligibility for registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
  • Experience and knowledge in contemporary diagnostic radiography practice
  • Ability to undertake teaching duties including the design and preparation of teaching activities and resources.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as a member of a team
  • Capacity and commitment to research and scholarship in health practice and education of health professionals
  • Commitment to high quality, flexible teaching and learning outcomes, in both traditional and contemporary modes of delivery
