About the role:

C&K Amberley Community Childcare Centre is currently looking for an Assistant Educator to join their team. As an experienced and qualified Assistant, you will be responsible for implementing quality care and education program in co-operation with the group leader.

Ideal applicants will have:
  • An ACECQA recognised qualification - already obtained or working towards.
  • Prior experience working in the early childhood profession.
  • Previous experience with inclusion support is highly desirable
  • Awareness of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLF)
  • Willingness to learn and implement C&K's Curriculum Approach: Listening and Learning Together.
  • Experience assisting with the implementation of a planned program, ensuring the needs of the group and individual children are met. Ability to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid and National police check
  • An ability to obtain a Blue Card, First Aid and National police check
  • Knowledge of and commitment to children's safety and wellbeing.
