Our founder, with Early Childhood Education experience and their own children, had a vision of creating a small, intimate and unique space for children and educators to learn and grow together. We pride ourselves on our child focused approach with flexibility, creativity and innovation in our vision for our tailored approach to the EYLF.

 Since the birth of Curious Minds, we have curated a wonderful team of dedicated Early Childhood professionals and with word now spreading about our wonderful centre, we are welcoming more happy little faces each day as our waitlist piles up. We therefore are very excited to be opening our doors to welcome our newest permanent team member to work alongside our exisiting team.

If successful, your role will consist of:

  • Provide a nurturing, safe and engaging environment for our children
  • Contribute to our planning cycle alongside our Room Leader, Educational Leader and other Assistant Educators
  • Greeting, sharing information and creating relationships with our beautiful, involved and welcoming families
  • Create warm, inviting, age appropriate learning spaces for our children ages 6 weeks to 4 years.
  • Support children in gaining self-help skills around health and hygiene tasks such as meal times, rest times and toileting
  • Share posts from our day with families and your team via our digital sharing app
  • Enjoy supporting the growth of 14 children each day alongside your friendly, inclusive and knowledgeable team
  • Attend bi/monthly team meetings where we share ideas, discuss and reflect on relevant topics and touch base over nibbles/dinner
  • Become familiar and confident with the EYLF, NQF and centre policies and procedures and uphold these day to day

This role is suitable for someone with:

  • A genuine love and passion for Early Childhood Education
  • A great work ethic, positive demeanour, adaptive, quick thinking and likes working in a friendly and cohesive team
  • A desire to join a team that is small, supportive and like family
  • A Diploma, Certificate lll, working toward or willing to work toward either of these qualifications. We are open to a traineeship for the right candidate.
  • A desire to contribute to our service, share ideas and feel fulfilled in their work
  • Your own small group of assigned 'focus' children to support the development and growth of through our planning cycle and the help of your Room Leader and Assistants
  • Potential aspirations to move into Room Leader/Management roles in the future within a growing company who wants you to thrive in your career and feel secure in your employment
