Welcome to Helping Hands! We provide before & after school care and school holiday programs to primary school-aged children in Narangba Valley, home to 120+ children.

The Assistant Coordinator role is a tremendous opportunity for an experienced Educator looking to take their first step towards a career in childcare management.

While leadership experience is not essential, you must be invested in developing a career within the OSHC industry.

Training and mentoring will be provided to ensure your success and development within this exciting opportunity.

What can you expect as an Assistant Coordinator?

Assist with developing skills within the team;
Ensuring NQF compliance of your service;
Fostering the outstanding existing relationship with the school and community links;
Develop and deliver fun, child-driven activities;
Planning & resourcing healthy eating menus;
Community partnerships for delivery of unique projects;
Step-up to Coordinator duties as required.

What are the prerequisites to apply?

Commitment to split shifts during before and after school care, Monday - Friday;
An understanding of NQF and My Time Our Place;
Diploma+ within relevant* discipline (working towards is acceptable);
Professional experience working with children;
A valid Blue Card;
The ability to pass a National Police Check.
