This exciting position assists with enriching children so they can develop to their full potential in Early Learning Programs, Kindergarten, and Before and After School care settings.

This role will require a strong customer focus and the exceptional delivery of the National Quality Framework in Early Learning and Before and After School Hours Care. You will experience specialist support from a diverse and caring team, as you drive community and family engagement, with children at the heart of our service philosophy.

This role is available in both a part-time and casual capacity.

About the Centre

The Epping North YMCA Early Learning Centre and OSHC Service was built as part of the Governments New School PPP Project. The Early Learning Centre and OSHC Service opened in January 2017 and was built on the same footprint as the Harvest Home Primary School. We are a 104 place service with 6 rooms catering for children from 6 weeks old to integrated 4yr old kindergarten. With an ever-growing local community and a great reputation, our service is growing in occupancy.

Qualifications

Mandatory Pre-Requisite Qualifications

Certificate III in Early Childhood / Children’s Services or equivalent
First Aid Level 2
Current Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation Certificate
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Qualifications
Equivalent experience
YMCA, including Boards of Directors, is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding Children and Young People framework. YMCA requires that all applicants undergo satisfactory screening prior to commencement, including but not limited to:
a national criminal history check
an international criminal history check where applicants have worked overseas
holding or obtaining a Working with Children Clearance/ equivalent in accordance with state/ territory laws
ACF Safeguarding Children and Young People Certificate (completion online prior to commencement)
Two reference checks
