JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Analyst reports to the Manager, Training Profile and engages with leaders in the Education Operations, Educational Business Unit, providing expert advice and project skills to support Education Operations and TAFE SA strategic outcomes. The role is expected to work under broad guidelines to plan, coordinate and deliver strategic advice to, and on behalf of TAFE SA.

This position will provide expert advice to Education Operations, identifying operational and strategic problems and opportunities for TAFE SA and use a range of sources including Educational Business Unit, TAFE SA data, information and known issues and contribute to continuous improvement processes. This is a 12 month appointment in the first instance.

Special Conditions

  • Some out of hours work may be required
  • Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may be required
  • Eligible to work in Australia
  • Appointment to this position will be subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • Health & Safety and Record-Keeping within legislative requirements according to the principles of the Public Sector Act 2009
  • Actively participate in TAFE SA Performance Management and Development Program
