The role

Our Norman Park centre is seeking a highly skilled and pro-active Administration Assistant to join our team of passionate Educators on a permanent part-time basis.

This is a diverse role that requires a candidate with good administrative skills and the ability to communicate to clients, staff and management both written and verbally. 

You will also be responsible for general administration in the centre as well as delivering exceptional customer service to our families. 

Essential requirements 

  • Minimum of a Diploma in Children's Services
  • Microsoft office experience, specifically Excel and Word
  • Friendly, professional manner with ability to focus in a busy, noisy environment
  • 2 or more years of administrative experience
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Experience using Kidsoft will be highly regarded
  • Strength to uphold and enforce polices and procedures
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Senior first-aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities for this role

  • Supporting the ongoing needs of Families, Children and Staff
  • Managing heavy email and phone traffic
  • Processing enrolments, bookings and attendance using Kidsoft software
