In this role, you will lead curriculum focus in line with school and departmental initiatives and participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division. About Capella State High School

Capella State High School is located Halfway between Emerald and Clermont just off the Gregory Highway on Gordon St. The school was established in 1984 and services the local rural and mining communities. Numbers of Students enrolled at Capella State High School vary depending on the status of the mining industry.

The school is currently staffed with 12 teachers and 12 support staff. About 75% of students travel to and from school each day on a bus. Just over two percent of the student population is indigenous and most of the students' parents are employed in the mining industry or mining related industries.

About The Role

You will be a key leader in the team providing curriculum planning advice and leading a review of pedagogical practices across the school. The school has a strong focus on providing individual educational programs for every student to ensure the best possible outcomes.

The school offers a rich curriculum program that values and promotes academic achievement while also offering a wide range of co-curricular activities that encourages all students from Year 7 to 12 to develop their talents and interests to the full.

In this role, you will lead the development of curriculum and pedagogy in line with school and departmental initiatives and participate in delivering the vision of State Schools Division.

A Mandatory Requirement Of This Role Is
