Level C and D Academics in Architecture, Education, Industrial Design, Information Technology, Nursing and Pharmacy. Preferred areas of research and practice expertise include the below:

  • Architecture: Computational design-architectural informatics, BIM (Building Information Modelling) and digital twins, Smart cities and buildings, Building analysis and simulation, Design prototyping and fabrication, Digital humanities, Architectural heritage, Design and social values, Socio-technical building performance, Social sustainability, Design behaviour and cognition, Design collaboration, Empathy in design, Design practice, End-user engagement.
  • Education: Curriculum studies, Educational leadership and change, AI in education, Education psychology, Learning Sciences, Learning Theory.
  • Industrial Design: Industrial design, Product design, Human-centred design and integration, User interaction (UI), User experience (UX)
  • Information Technology: 2D and 3D User interface, Visualisation, Human Computer Interaction, Game Design and Development, Secure software development, Cyber Security of telecommunications (satellite and IOT communications), Governance and Legal frameworks for cyber security, Requirements Engineering and industry based agile development, Software architecture and frameworks(quality and testing), Model driven software engineering, Edge computing, Autonomous systems, Generalised applied machine learning, Business and social impact of computing, Digital business transformation, Machine learning in cyber security/health care optimization/data science, Artificial Intelligence techniques including machine learning/data mining/natural language processing/multi-agent systems/autonomous systems/explainable AI/knowledge representation.
  • Nursing and Pharmacy: Mental Health Nursing, Aged Care Nursing, Primary Health Care, Nursing Workforce Research, Pharmacotherapeutics, Community Pharmacy Practice

About the Roles

Enterprise Fellows will have a majority research focus and will lead and deliver high quality research outcomes that translate to impact for our partners and society. They will be active members of our Academic Units, research centres and institutes, contributing to an exceptional teaching and student experience and linking their research to course delivery and undergraduate and postgraduate program outcomes. 

The workload allocations for these positions will be negotiated on an individual basis. It is intended that these positions will be Research Academic positions with a teaching allocation initially and over time will transition to a balanced Teaching and Research workload.
