About the role:

The Campus Coordinator plays an integral part of the school leadership team. This role supports the Principal and Assistant Principal in modelling faith in action, overseeing the smooth operation of the Mortdale Campus and delivering strategic school goals through day-to-day mentoring and support of staff and students.

The Campus Coordinator assumes similar responsibilities to that of an Assistant Principal of a smaller school. In the absence of the Principal and Assistant Principal from the site the Campus Coordinator has responsibility for the school campus.

This position is a temporary position covering terms 2, 3 and 4, 2021. A secondment to this position from another Sydney Catholic School is possible.


To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate proven experience in:

● Creating a Catholic learning culture of shared responsibility focused on quality teaching and quality learning for all students

● Leading communities through effective operational planning and execution

● Classroom practice that is engaging and innovative, maximising student learning outcomes

● Strategic thinking in managing and leading change and improvement within the school and its community

● Creating a culture of inclusion and hospitality by initiating relevant opportunities to engage with parents, caregivers and Church to build and maintain effective partnerships

Desirable Criteria:

● Relevant postgraduate study

● Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School (Category E), Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in systemic Catholic schools Archdiocese of Sydney
