About the Role

The Y WA is currently seeking a permanent Part time Diploma Qualified Educator to join our Bunbury ELC team.. We are seeking a confident Educator with strong communication skills for this role building genuine relationships with parents, children and staff.

Duties

Record observations of individual children or groups
Implement and lead a program that reflects children’s interest, development, culture and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
Maintain a safe, hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
Create positive relationships with children, families and team members

Skills and Experience

Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education
Experience working as a room leader will be advantageous
Good communication skills both written and interpersonal
Enthusiasm, commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
An understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012 and NQF
