About the Opportunity

As a NEIS Trainer/Mentor, you will be responsible for delivering face to face and online NEIS Training to participants to develop NEIS Business Plans, which enable the transition to NEIS Assistance. You will be scheduled to deliver accredited small business training modules that maintains ASQA Compliance requirements in an engaging and proactive style to support the development of suitable NEIS compliant business plans.

You will have strong training and business experience, a solution focused attitude, and self motivation to bring a positive, engaging manner to our NEIS Training program.

This opportunity is available on a Outer-Limit Term Full Time contract until 30 June 2022 to the successful candidate. The area for this position will cover is the Southern Gold Coast and North Coast.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and current data about the New Enterprise Incentive Scheme (NEIS) to potential participants.
Consult and assess applications for eligibility and suitability into the NEIS program.
Deliver schedule face to face and online accredited small business training modules to participants that maintains ASQA compliance requirements in an engaging style to support for the development of suitable NEIS compliant business plans.
Provide and conduct the mentoring program for 12 months to participants of the program
Build strong rapport with each client to ensure they are motivated to achieve maximum outcomes for entry into the NEIS Program; support the business sustainability and progress of their business.
Implement a Stakeholder Engagement Plan for networking strategies for engagement with external parties.

Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Demonstrated high level interpersonal communication (verbal and written) relationship building, negotiation, conflict resolution and networking skills working with internal and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to manage a busy and varied schedule.
Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft office programs and database systems. Such as Excel & CRM.
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units: TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B; or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education
Certificate III in Micro Business Operations (BSB30315) or equivalent
