The Opportunity

eSolutions is a dynamic and innovative team, with a goal to enable Monash to deliver the best possible academic experience and research outcomes through the provision of high-quality technology and enhanced ICT services.

We are looking for an experienced IT Service Centre Support Officer to join our dynamic and customer-focused team. You will deliver exceptional front-line support to our wide customer base across the University. In doing so, you will combine your finesse in customer service with your exceptional, broad technical knowledge ensuring a positive customer experience at all times!

Working with our highly driven and talented team of Support Officers, your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Provide face-to-face and phone IT support to various users across the University
  • Ensure advice and customer service is in line with agreed procedures and timelines
  • Provide creative solutions to technical issues ensuring clear and concise communication with the customers
  • Maintain accurate log entries of faults with resolutions and contact details
  • Participate in a variety of team training opportunities whilst also looking for new ways to up-skill yourself

As our new Support Officer, you will have demonstrable experience in a front-line technical support role where you have supported desktop hardware and both standard and customised (in-house) software. You will have experience in a fast moving, customer facing role where you have liaised with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills combined with effective communication skills is essential for your success in this role.
