Continuing, full time appointment
Academic Level A/B, $66,864 to $120,157 pa (relocation assistance available)
Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave

As a VET Lecturer/Workplace Assessor - Information and Communication Technology you are responsible for the development and delivery of training whilst working under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and the VET Quality Framework and to the competency standards of the ICT Training Package. You will deliver training programs through flexible learning environments including, classrooms and/or other nominated teaching locations/workplace environments either on or off campus and in remote areas of the Northern Territory. Experience providing training within a workplace setting or educational institution will be highly regarded.

Crucial to this role is your passion for the sector, your engaging presentation style, and your enthusiasm and personal motivation to grow the business.

To be successful you must possess education, training and/or relevant experience to a Diploma in Information Technology or relevant area with demonstrated relevant work experience in the sector, as well as a current qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116). Demonstrated contemporary knowledge of procedural and object oriented (imperative) programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, Node.js, PHP) is a requirement of this position.
