About Point Resolution Child Care Centre (PRCC)

PRCC is a unique, not for profit, Early Childhood Centre located in Dalkeith. We provide high quality early childhood education and care service for a mixed aged group of children up to 6 years of age in an open plan environment. The Centre operates from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and caters for up to 26 children.

About The Role

As a Qualified Childcare Educator at PRCC you will play an integral role in providing children with opportunities to plan, prepare and participate in learning experiences, projects and programs and be responsible for providing high quality care with a focus on continual improvement.

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and committed individual with sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework to join our team of passionate Educators.

The Core Functions Of The Role Are To

  • Provide professional and developmentally appropriate care for the children.
  • Develop and implement high quality childcare programs in line with the Centre’s policies, procedures, National Quality
  • Standards and Early Years Learning Framework.
  • The role will have a rotating roster with varied start and finish times allowing for AM and PM coverage, including one Rostered
  • Day Off (RDO) per 4-week roster period.


The Successful Candidate Will Have

About the successful candidate
  • Diploma qualification in Children’s Services or a recognised ACECQA qualification
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate
  • WA National Police Certificate (obtained within the past 3 months)
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Previous experience in delivering high quality and diverse educational programs in a long day care setting.
  • Ability to lead by example and mentor staff.
  • The person we seek will also possess good communication and time management skills and demonstrate commitment to early Childhood development principles.


What We Offer

This fixed term, full time Level 3 position offers a cash salary range of $61,800 to $68,300 per annum plus superannuation. Fixed term contract will end on 31 March 2022.
