St John's Primary School, Scarborough is a single streamed co-educational primary school with an enrolment of 236 students form Pre Kindy to Year 6.
Our committed and enthusiastic staff work closely together to provide a collaborative and supportive learning and teaching environment. We currently require a Kindy Educational Assistant to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (8.30 -3.30pm). Our staff are highly committed to ongoing growth and success of our , have a passion for education and possess the initiative required to work successfully in an Early Childhood setting.


Selection Criteria

St John's Primary School is seeking applicants who are able to demonstrate the following;

An ability to work collaboratively and co-operatively with colleagues.
Highly developed organisational and communication skills.
A willingness to embrace 21st Century classroom practice and theory, and integrate the use of digital technology in the classroom.
A willingness to be an active part of whole school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
A willingness to work constructively and positively with teacher direction.

Ability to work professionally maintaining each child's feeling of safety and security in the classroom.
The ability to build positive relationships with staff, children, parents and the wider school community.

Qualification Required

Desirable to have Certificate III/ IV Education Assistant.
