About our Centre:

Williams Landing is a 168 places, with 9 beautiful classrooms plus piazza space. Our Williams Landing centre is built on multi levels with the classrooms all one level. The centre is only 600 metres from Williams Landing train station, with limited staff parking on site. Our Educators and management team are all extremely passionate about providing quality care and practising the Explorers philosophy. We explore and share diverse pedagogical practices and experiences. We are intrinsically motivated to reflect on and enhance our educator’s professional development. We bring the children, families, peers and community together as a whole.

The Role:

This role is a maternity leave position running the Nursery room. You will have the opportunity to work alongside passionate educators who share a passion for working with children. 

At explorers we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach and so an understanding of this practice will be highly regarded.
 
We are looking to welcome lead educators who are:

  • Bubbly with a positive attitude
  • Passionate about providing quality learning environments for children
  • Committed and professional
  • Have a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQS
  • Experience managing a team
  • Can model best practise
  • Be supporting and able to mentor and guide your and work closely with the management team

Key requirements:

  • An approved early learning qualification
  • 2yrs plus experience in a lead role. 
  • First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Working with children check
  • Working rights- Visa / Passport
  • Photo ID
