About us

SDN Children’s Services is a not for profit organisation that has been delivering quality early childhood education and child care, children's therapies and family support services since 1905.

We are one of Australia’s most respected children’s services organisations, and have over 600 staff across 30 sites in Sydney, regional NSW and the ACT. We also have therapists who support children with autism or a developmental delay, and can help overcome the challenges that can make everyday life and participation tough for children.

About The Role

To collaborate with key stakeholders, together drawing on their experience, expertise and insights to build the capacity of practitioners to align with the contemporary and innovative high-quality practices endorsed by the organisation.

This is a full time permanent position working 38 hours per week. Flexibility with travel is required within NSW and the ACT.

About You

  • University qualifications in Early Childhood Education, with significant experience working in the early childhood sector, building capacity of teachers and educators
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment with demonstrated ability to scope, write and deliver workshops and online learning modules, webinars and e-learning tools
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, facilitate and bridge connection in a variety of contexts
  • Qualified technical writer and qualified technical communicator
  • Demonstrated skill in cultural competency and team culture
  • Demonstrated ability to reflect on own practice and make changes
  • Demonstrated ability to build the capacity of others and to drive change
  • Current drivers licence and own comprehensively insured car
  • A Working with Children's Check (NSW) clearance number
