Based in UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance at the City East campus
Full-time, continuing position
Salary: $100,184 per annum (plus superannuation)

About the Role

Reporting to the Professorial Lead and working closely with the Program Director: Physiotherapy, the Lecturer in Physiotherapy will contribute independently and as part of a team to support the Academic Unit’s teaching and research outcomes and initiatives to maintain and develop scholarly, research and/or professional activities. This position will primarily focus on the development, delivery and coordination of courses within the unit’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs and contribute to the unit’s research agenda.

Core Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate and deliver courses on campus, offshore, online or via appropriate methods
Supervise/co-supervise honours or postgraduate students
Create, foster and enhance national and international links with relevant industry, business, university and community bodies
Contribute to program planning and evaluation
Participate in the professional development activities of the Academic Unit

Essential Skills and Experience

A PhD qualification in a relevant discipline and current registration or eligibility for registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia
Expertise in musculoskeletal and/or sports Physiotherapy.
Strong and communication skills with the ability to work as a member of a diverse team
Capacity and commitment to high quality, flexible teaching and learning outcomes in both traditional and contemporary modes of delivery
Demonstrated capacity to contribute to and build upon the established research and scholarship strengths of the Academic Unit
