Are you passionate about child safety and wellbeing? Do you have strong incident management skills working in a fast-paced environment? If so, our Quality team are seeking a passionate Child Wellbeing Manager and would love to hear from you!

We are looking for a Child Wellbeing Manager to support our Quality team on a 12-month, full-time fixed term contract role.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Influencing the strategic direction of the organisation in managing risks impacting on child wellbeing.
  • Reducing the number of incidents of harm occurring to children attending Goodstart Early Learning programs.
  • Co-ordinating the management of child protection notifications and accidents, incidents and potentially harmful situations involving children.
  • Providing leadership to the administration team to operate efficiently and continuously improve processes to support the needs of the organisation.
  • Ensuring the organisation complies with reporting obligations as identified in the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Ensuring the organisation complies with reporting obligations as identified in the reportable conduct schemes including CCYP, OCG, Ombudsman, DESE.
  • Working in effective partnerships across the organisation to facilitate necessary investigations, root cause analysis, follow up and close out of incidents presenting moderate to high risk to children.

About you:

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Strong working knowledge of Education and Care National Law and Regulations and state based reportable conduct schemes
