Qualification & experience

RTO Compliance Officer:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role with RTO compliance experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the VET Quality Framework. 

Personal Assistant:

  • Tertiary degree in business or related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (Mandarin speaker preferred)
  • Organisational and multitasking skills and the ability to be proactive and take the initiative 
  • Expert in Office 365 Excel 

Tasks & responsibilities

RTO Compliance Officer:

  • Maintain compliance for all registered courses offered by Shafston in accordance with CRICOS and ASQA .
  • Ensure the RTO complies with all data reporting requirements.
  • Support scheduled RTO risk assessment with key recommendations and action plans.
  • Plan, schedule and conduct a range of quality assurance (QA) and compliance activities including audits.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling internal audits, assessment validation, and marketing reviews for compliance (website and social media included).
  • Support course reviews (including industry consultation) and academic continuous improvement activities including validation and moderation.
  • Promote continuous improvement practices across Shafston International College's staff and operations.

Personal Assistant:

  • Provide a range of administrative support to the College's General Manager
  • Extensive email and diary management, deal with correspondence and phone calls directed to the General Manager
  • Organising travel arrangements when required
  • Monitor the General Manager's schedule and manage appointments
  • Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting minutes
  • Monitor expenditure against budget, collating and filing expenses requiring approval 
  • Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence
  • Liaison with staffs, suppliers and students when required
  • Working independently in key projects
