Australian Training Company is looking for Pro-Active and Energetic Individuals

We have an exciting opportunity for pro-active and energetic individuals to commence a Certificate III Sport and Recreation Traineeship. These individuals will join the Participation Team at the National Rugby League (NRL).

As an NRL Trainee, you will contribute to a number of the key initiatives of the NRL, such as growing participation at all levels; growing our fan base; achieving deeper engagement and delivering community outcomes.

The right candidate for this role will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and will be passionate about making a positive difference to people’s lives through sport. No two days are likely to be the same. One day you will be assisting and running NRL Child Care Centre and Primary School Programs, the next attending a junior rugby league club assisting with: first aid, coaching and building relationships with the community.

The successful applicants

  • will report to the Game Development Team, communicating regularly, to ensure the programs are delivered to a high standard and all policies and procedures are followed.
  • will build relationships with Child Care Centre staff, primary school teachers, junior rugby league club members, parent’s, and participants to ensure all outcomes are being met in a timely manner.
  • will work within a diverse, friendly, reliable team of professionals at the NRL.
  • be eligible to apply for Working with Children’s Check (Blue Card).
  • possess a current driver’s license, road worthy vehicle and be prepared to travel around South East Queensland.
  • have a passion for physical development of children and young people.
  • have a strong work ethic and commitment to the direction and objectives of the NRL and their programs.
  • have a high level of organisational skills and excellent communication skills.
  • have a growth mindset with a willingness to learn.

This is a full-time position (38 hours per week) and ideally the successful applicant will be able to commence as soon as possible.
