TAFE Gippsland is located in the idyllic regional setting of Gippsland in eastern Victoria, with campuses from Warragul to Lakes Entrance.

About the role
You will deliver high quality training and assessment, develop innovative resources and assessment materials, and undertake educational administration. You will provide students with support and advice, and equip them with the skills and knowledge required to enable them to transition into the workforce or further education and training.

The scope of the Teacher Early Childhood role covers a variety of responsibilities and activities within the sector, including:

  • classroom based teaching;

  • teaching via video conferencing;

  • practical skills training in simulated workplace environments;

  • engaging with students and their employers in the workplace;

  • supporting students and employers with their workforce and career development needs;

  • showcasing careers andassociated education pathways to community, schools and industry.


Mandatory requirements

  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAEASS502 and TAELLN411 *

  • Relevant vocational qualifications and experience

  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check

  • Current Police Check (no older than 12 months)

* If you don’t currently have the minimum required teaching qualification, yet you have extensive industry experience and associated qualifications, TAFE Gippsland will consider your application but you must meet all other criteria shown in the Job Description.
