About the Division

The Brand, Partnerships and Business Development Division is responsible for promoting Brand UNE, enabling student recruitment (domestic and international), developing business partnerships and promoting corporate fund raising and philanthropy.

About the Business Area

Admissions and Credit help process and administer applications made by students to study at UNE. The admissions team handle the applications of domestic students applying for coursework courses where the credit teams administer applications for all students for credit for previous study and experience or recognition of Prior Learning.

About the role

The Student Pathways Advisor provides high level administrative service and support to students, and is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of key services relating to admission, credit transfer and enrolment for commencing and continuing students.

About you

To be successful in this role the Student Pathways Advisor will have demonstrated experience in the provision of specialist advice across multiple communication channels and well as high quality administrative service and support to students with enquiries relating to admission, credit transfer and enrolment.

The Student Pathways Advisor will provide specialist advice, exercise discerning judgement and resolve complex enquiries or applications whilst ensuring the accurate application of policy, rules and guidelines. The incumbent will deliver services to students and staff requiring sound interpersonal, communication and engagement skills, with a demonstrated ability to develop effective professional relationships and maintain diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality with superior organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
