Australian Workforce is looking for a full time Electrical & Air Conditioner Trainer available to start immediately in Upper Mt Gravatt, Queensland.ABOUT THE POSITION:You are responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of nationally endorsed Training Packages and this includes training in the classroom or in their workplace.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Delivery and assessment of nationally endorsed Training Packages/Accredited Courses and Customised Industry Courses
• Assess students enrolled in the qualification as per the relevant Learning and Assessment Strategy
• Assess and address the varied needs of each student, including the provision of training
• Ensure compliance with AQF (Australian Qualification Framework) requirements
• Development and administration of suitable assessment tasks appropriate to course requirements
• Ensure content and delivery of Training Packages and accredited courses meet the standards of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) Quality Framework
• Monitor and review program activity and standards
• Participate in moderation/validation sessions as required and undertaking relevant professional development sessions as per Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) standards
• Report to and inform the appropriate manager regarding student welfare, student attendance and course progress
• Facilitate work placements as per required/relevant training course for practical consideration

Required Experience/Academic Background:

• Proven ability to train and assess in an educational environment
• Ability to resolve and manage student complaints and students matters
• Ability to work at a wide range of stakeholders
• Very strong communicator who effectively inspires participation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Resourceful team player
• Registration/Membership/licensing with regulatory facilities based on the qualification delivered.

YOU MUST HAVE:To be successful in this role, you will need to have

1. Diploma of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Engineering
2. Certificate-IV in Electro Technology
3. Current Restricted Electrical Licence
4. TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
