ECTARC also operates a network of Early Childhood Services primarily located in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven regions of NSW. About the Role
Originally known as Illawarra Area Child Care (IACC) our organisation was incorporated in October 1985 and has a long history of providing optimum education and training services.

As a Training and Development Officer you will work as part of a passionate and capable team committed to enriching the futures of our students, children and the community. In this role you will train and support early childhood students, in addition to developing and presenting professional development programs across NSW.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Education – Early Childhood (or equivalent) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and working towards a degree in early education.
  • TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and be willing to undertake an upgrade to the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
  • 5 years’ experience working in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven time management, administrative and computer skills
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings as required
  • Ability to travel throughout NSW
  • Current full driver’s license

Desirable Criteria:

  • Working towards a degree in early childhood education
  • Experience working as a trainer and assessor in the VET sector
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Experience presenting professional development to teams
