The Head of Learning Area role works with the Deputy Principal Curriculum to lead the teaching and learning program, curriculum scope and sequence, to develop co-curricular and tutoring opportunities for students,
The Head of Learning Area - VET & Training & Careers in consultation with the Deputy Principal of Curriculum will also lead the growth and development of staff members in the team by coaching and guiding staff to formulate a professional growth plan, developing peer observations, regular lesson observations along with learning walks with the Principal and Deputy Principal of Curriculum. 
The ability to teach a combination of careers and RE subjects is an advantage.
This position is available to commence in Term 2, 2021, or by negotiation and could be considered as a secondment opportunity.
