At Catholic Early EdCare we share all parents’ aspirations to watch their children grow. We are seeking to appoint a Diploma (or equivalent as per ACECQA) Educator (Children’s Services Employee) at two of our Gold Coast Services:
- St Brigid's OSHC - Nerang (Large Service)
- St Kevin's OSHC - Benowa (Large Service)
Hours: Casual (varied)
Remuneration: as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010. Level 1.1 to Level 3.4 depending on qualifications and experience - $30.3619 to $32.5066.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
- Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
- Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- An ACECQA approved school age qualification. A range of study areas may be recognised including: behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks.
- A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
- Effective workplace communication skills
