Remuneration: HEW 10A - Base salary of $146,709 per annum plus 17% superannuation and an annual incentive payment of up to a maximum of 10% at the discretion of the University

The Opportunity
A great opportunity has arisen for an individual who is passionate about creating high-performing communications strategies and sharing the stories of the University in the role of Group Manager, Communications. Providing support to the Director, Communications, this role is responsible for bringing to life the University's communications content in order to create news, manage issues and build our reputation in a proactive, strategic and impactful way.
As a member of the senior management team in SMC, your role will comprise:
- Conceptualising, developing and delivering on high level content and communications strategies
- Consulting and liaising with key senior stakeholders across the University to ensure positive reputation management
- Providing oversight on crisis and issues management as well as the implementation of communications plans
- Leading, guiding and supporting the communications function within SMC to ensure excellence is achieved
