Trinity College is a co-educational Catholic College with a current enrolment of 890 students from Years 7 - 12. The College is administered by the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane through the Brisbane Catholic Education Office and is a member of Marist Schools of Australia. We are seeking an experienced IT Coordinator to join our College team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Operate and be responsible for the efficient and effective management and administration of the Information Technology operations of the College.
  • Provide complex and varied services to the College community including being responsible for the supervision, monitoring and development of other staff reporting to the position.
  • Research and examine likely long-term requirements for computer systems, suggest alternative plans and strategies and report on their feasibility.
  • Consult with departmental computer users to understand and meet the needs of the department and their students.
  • Coordinate and administer the range of activities involved with the management of the College’s Information Technology Assets.
  • Coordinate the management of information technology equipment maintenance and development activities and projects.
  • Coordinate and operate the College 1:1 laptop program, including purchasing 1:1 laptop devices and management of the College helpdesk.
  • Provide advice, guidance and training to staff members regarding e-learning and integration of information technology into the curriculum.
  • Develop and maintain College staff IT applications that improve and streamline daily staff operational activities.

Formal qualifications at degree level are required, with demonstrated experience in the IT field.

Position Tenure: Continuing

Weeks Worked: Up to 52 weeks per year including school holidays

Tenure Duration (If Fixed Term):
Total Paid Hours (per wk) & Days Required: 5 days/wk (36 hrs/wk) Monday to Friday

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate: School Officer Level 6 - $36.28 per hour

Employment Conditions: Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement

This position involves working with children. The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
